Computational Design

Coded Voxels: Computational Design Tutorials

Coded Voxels is my YouTube channel, where I teach computational design in Blender using Python, Sverchok, and Geometry Nodes. The goal is to bridge design, mathematics, and programming through hands-on projects — starting from zero and building up to generative geometry.

Chapter 1: Introduction to Computational Design

Blender’s interface from a computational design perspective: basic data structures, creating vertices and edges, and first steps with Python for geometry.

Chapter 2: Surfaces and Mathematics

Generating surfaces from mathematical formulas in Python, comparing NURBS and mesh modeling, and putting Sverchok to work on real design problems. This chapter draws on Joseph Choma’s work on mathematical transformations.

More chapters are on the way — the full playlist is on YouTube.
